Editorial Assistant Duties & Responsibilities

The role and function of an Editorial Assistant includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Proofreading and checking the accuracy of articles
  • Planning and organising projects
  • Researching images
  • Calculating expenditure
  • Writing and editing copy
  • Liaising with authors, marketing staff, designers and printers.
  • Researching and commissioning features and new titles
  • Commissioning articles
