Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner (Banking)

Job Summary

  • As a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) in the Banking Sector, you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with the business objectives of the bank. You will be responsible for providing expert HR guidance and support to the bank's management team and employees, fostering a high-performance and inclusive work culture, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the internal consultant to the business units on people-related issues
  • Co-ordinate and participate in the recruitment and selection process to fill vacancies in the business units
  • Ensure that onboarding process of new staff joining the business unit is seamless
  • Liaise with Group L&D to organize in-house training and workshops for all staff in the business units
  • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support the bank's business goals.
  • Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee issues, conflicts, and concerns. Foster a positive employee relations environment.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, working to create an inclusive and equitable workplace.
  • Change Management: Assist in change management initiatives and organizational development efforts.
  • HR Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to make informed HR decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts for various positions, including identifying staffing needs, conducting interviews, and managing the selection process.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management processes, ensuring regular feedback, performance appraisals, and professional development plans.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, design training programs, and ensure employees have access to learning and development opportunities.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Administer and advise on compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal HR policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HRBP roles, with a focus on business partnering in the banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations relevant to the banking industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior management and influence positive change.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
