Job Title: Finance Intern

Reports To: Finance & Admin Manager
Overview
- The objective of the intern position is to assist in the coordination of project work in consultation with project staff.
- This position will also link logistics with the technical program work with support from the Project Advisors and Technical Lead.
Specific Responsibilities
- Daily filling of vouchers
- Assist in gathering /photocopying of documentations for monthly payment of volunteers
- Assist in providing support during seminars, workshops, etc.
- Assist in checking and filling stores requisition
- Assist in ensuring routine servicing of equipment as and when due and keeping maintenance log
- Assist in periodic verification of physical inventory
- Receipt of orders into the store
- Prepared Delivery Acknowledgement (DA) and Service Completion Certificates (SCC)
- Posted Internal Requisitions Delivery Notes (DN)
- Assist in receiving items from vendors and update stock cards where applicable
- He/She also support services such as spiral binding and photocopying
- Prepared fixed asset transfers
- Assisted in the arrangement of workshop materials
- Prepared charge-back by projects where applicable
- Responsible for on/off of generator
- Ensure the office facility is properly maintained for good work environment
- Any other financial and Admin duties as assigned by the SFAM
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma or University degree generally required
- S/he will have strong office and organizational skills with competence to set priorities and multi-task in a time-sensitive environment. The candidate must be highly creative, witty and able to undertake complex tasks with minimal support.
- Writing and communication skills will be an added advantage. Team skills and comfort with computer word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software are a must.
- Agility working with electronic calendars (outlook or Google or other) and file management on networked system are an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff, clients and consultants.

Job Title: Driver III

Reports To: Finance & Admin Manager
Overview
- The Driver’s job is to provide transport support services to all technical program areas.
- The driver is also required to drive MSH vehicles while transporting staffs which include: Employees, Chief of Party, Country Directors/ Lead and VIP visitors.
- Drivers are also responsible for overseeing vehicle maintenance.
Specific Responsibilities
- Drive project staff to activities and meeting within and outside of Abuja.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records relating to individual vehicle use.
- Ensure all aspects of vehicle policy are being followed and enforced during your assignments.
- Inspect vehicle prior to travel to assure all fluids, tires, wipers, belts etc are in good working order.
- Signal any sign of need for maintenance or other problem with the vehicle to the transport and logistic associate.
- Keep vehicle health log updated.
- Assure the security of the vehicle when outside of the office.
- Assure the safety of all passengers.
- Submit all expense reports in a timely manner to accounting, properly completed.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school degree. University degree preferred.
- 0 -2 years related work experience with International organizations in Nigeria.
- Sound judgment, non-aggressive driving style and good communication skills.
- Good knowledge of standard driving practices
- Good driving record.
- Ability to travel if required
- Mental programs for interpreting and responding to events automatically; and motivations which activate and direct safe behavior and anticipate problems
- Ability to organize and complete manual and routine tasks as assigned
- Ability to perform at an acceptable level of control skill.
