Volunteer - Communications Partner at Anti-suicide and Depression Squad (ASADS)


The Anti-suicide and Depression Squad (ASADS) was birthed by the Executives Helping Initiative to enlighten and increase awareness of mental health in Nigeria with a pivotal focus on depression and suicide. Through awareness programs, training, reach-out programs, etc. the organization makes an impact and equips people with the right skills and knowledge to easily understand, recognize, and seek help when the need arises to prevent suicide and get to a state of mental wellness. ASADS was established in 2018.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Volunteer - Communications Partner

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Volunteer
Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities

  • Ensure innovative partnerships and sponsorship directly impact the organization with well-meaning NGOs, Corporate Bodies, Philanthropists, Celebrities, and Individuals where the situation arises.
  • Collaborate with other organizations that share the same ideas and goals.
  • Manage ASADS's official public email address, phone number, and social media direct messages.
  • Manage RSVP for the organization’s event.
  • Secure partnerships and sponsorships that have a positive impact on ASADS.
  • Promptly respond to all public inquiries about ASADS, including, social media inquiries, email inquiries, and phone call inquiries.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a personal laptop and be available to work remotely.
  • Available to work at least two (2) hours daily.
  • Passion for contributing to a cause that saves lives.
  • Highly Proactive with a passion for delivering on assigned Tasks.
  • Experienced in event Management and planning.
  • Proven experience in securing partnerships and sponsorship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Lagos Residents preferably.
