    Job Title: Systems/Database Support Engineer Location: Lagos Job Description
  • We are a new tech start-up currently seeking a Systems Support Engineer to work within our team, helping to maintain, and troubleshoot our existing platforms/infrastructure. He/she must be equipped and able to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing start-up environment. Position in in Lagos State.
  • Qualified systems engineers applicants will have a background in IT, computer and information systems engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Ability to see potential issues and proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure accessibility
  • Monitor and test performance of applications, foreseeing potential bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions
  • Ability to work with developers to implement those fixes
  • Continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
  • Competency in writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower downtime due to required human intervention
  • Consistently and successfully provide 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Ability to take ownership of existing systems and collaborate with other less technical personnel
Requirements and Qualifications
  • HND/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a similar field
  • Proven working experience in the above fields including installing, configuring and troubleshooting in cloud based environments
  • Experience with web apps and mobile applications
  • Knowledge of administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g. Apache, Ruby, NGINX)
  • Proven ability to successfully and efficiently monitor systems
  • Good knowledge of scripting (e.g. Javascript, Ruby, Python)
  • Ideally located and residing around the Lekki / Ajah area of Lagos

    Job Title: Customer Service Representative Location: Lagos Responsibilities
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers.
  • Initiate and manage large volumes of phone calls
  • Generate sales leads
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Evidence of graduation from a higher institution
  • Ideally located and residing around the Lekki / Ajah area of Lagos
