Job Title: Architect / Quality Controller
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- Responsible for managing and performing the daily QC
responsibilities of specific company projects to ensure they are
constructed in accordance with the established plans &
specifications.
Key Accountability / Responsibilities
- Take appropriate action to ensure that work is performed in accordance with national and local standards
- Ensure the appropriate and required testing program is implemented.
- Inspect and document the receipt of all materials to ensure compliance with contract documents
- Ensure that all documents for respective sites are well organized.
- Develop preliminary design (based on briefs), details to be used
for Approval, Costing, Construction, Fabrication, Purchases and Tenders
- Monitor construction QC activities and make recommendations
- Provide mentoring, direction, and subject matter expertise to other project team members on quality control related matters.
- Ensure cordial relationship and proper communication (w.r.t. drawings) is maintained with project team members for all projects
- Ensure quality &merit based selection of subcontractors&punitive measures for under performance.
- Initiate stop work or re-work
- Report quality and safety incidents on the Company Incident Database
- Ensure implementation and documentation of corrective actions.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Undertake accident/incident investigations as the needs arise
and implement remedial/preventive actions against re-occurrence of such
(accident/incident)
- Zero tolerance in obsolete documents/policies used in quality control Plans and processes,detecting potential hazards
- 100% accuracy in quality control reports generated, Clarity in
developed designs and quality control standards with the project team
Minimum Education and Work Experience
- BSc/MSc in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
- 2 years’ construction quality control experience
- Familiarity with workplace health & safety concepts and proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCad.
- Good understanding of project change administration & the effect of the quality aspects of the project.
Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Responsible for the development and management of construction projects.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Identify and develop projects.
- Prepare development plans for prospective projects.
- Procurement of all necessary permits, approvals &licenses for construction site.
- Prepare work programmes,work method statements &safety management plans.
- Communicating relevant information
- To create an atmosphere where good team spirit exists between colleagues and sub-contractors across all sites
- Lead, mentor and supervise the construction team in line with the company’s organisational goals.
- Provide access to existing database of construction teams.
- Liaising with local approving authorities for procurement of statutory approvals and smooth running of project sites.
- Harmonise all working drawing & ensure full implementation of working drawings on site.
- Development of construction manual (policies, processes & methodologies) to be used in all construction sites.
- Research and propose alternate building solutions.
Minimum Education and Work Experience
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Architecture, Building, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Member of Professional body at a chartered level will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years experience.

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- Responsible for managing all costs relating to the company's
projects - from initial estimates to final acquisition of materials.
- Focus is on providing value for money while adhering to the strict regulations in construction.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Operational/Tech/Professional Results
- Prepare Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works, Specifications, regulations and policies
- Prepare preliminary estimates, cost plans,enable costs to be accurately advised to clients
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks, value management & cost control methods
- Develop innovative methods of avoiding gluts on respective project sites
- Relationship
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of
quantities with the project team i.e. architect, construction manager,
engineers etc.
- Liaise with specialist suppliers, contractors and component
manufacturers to ensure best prices of materials are obtained for
competitive tendering
- Prepare reports with recommendations for both new and ongoing projects to the Executive Management team.
- Monitor the quantity and usage of materials on all project sites

Key Performance Indicators:
Minimum Education and Work Experience
- A First degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience (with 3 years in a Real Estate company)
- Candidate must be a registered Quantity Surveyor
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Vision)
