We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Descriptions
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
- Increasing client base and Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.)
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Writing business proposals
- Negotiating with stakeholders
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
- Following industry trends locally and internationally
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
- Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
- Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to IAP Building Solutions management team.
- Coordinate and assist in the proposal process with IAP Building Solutions marketing and project management teams.
- Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, TV etc.), exhibitions and promotional events
- Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication
- Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
- Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
- Planning and preparing presentations
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
- Create and expand IAP Building Solutions footprint and build positive top of mind awareness.
- Developing growth strategies and plans, Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures
- Any other assigned task
Qualifications/Requirements
- Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis, and statistics methods
- High-level communication skills, Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis, and statistics methods
- Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
- Conflict resolution
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
- Experience working to and exceeding targets
- Strictly Female Applicants.
- Bachelor’s Degree required preferable in Marketing.
- Business Development experience (prefer 5-10 years) in the construction industry with a successful track record of building relationships.
- Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations.
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (eg CRM)
- Familiarity with social media and web analytics (eg WebTrends)
- Outstanding presentation and relationship building skills.
