Strategic Workforce Solutions Limited (SWS) is a HR Consulting firm established in 2014 by a group of consultants with over 34 years of joint work experience. The Company is incorporated as a Private Limited Liability company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Company offers services in HR Advisory, Performance Management, Change Management, Organizational Development, Policy and Process Development, Job Analysis & Evaluation, Outsourcing Executive Training & Recruitment.

The SWS team consists of individuals with a rich depth of experience from many organizations and industries. Therefore, the team is able to proffer and deliver solutions to various clients across a broad range of businesses so as to set them on the path towards sustainable business growth.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

Job Title: HR Operations Lead

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
The Successful candidate will be responsible for running the overall Operations of the Company. The following will also be key deliverables and responsibilities of the successful hire:

  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports and coordinate activities within the Organization to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Partner with departments to identify key problem areas or opportunities for improvement across people, business, process, technology and policy areas, aligned to the overall company strategy.
  • Improve the Operations Strategy with an eye for scale and own additional aspects of People operations
  • Lead a team of highly collaborative team members to drivekey initiatives forward, primarily within operations, but with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to execute any initiative.
  • Provide training to staff from time to time to enhance available skills and keep abreast of trends in the industry
  • Design suitable reward systems that will motivate employees
  • Write policies and guide the organization on best practices within the industry
  • Coordinate and control leave entitlements
  • Monitor official vehicle fleet including maintenance, repair and consumption
  • Liaise with line managers on productivity, health and discipline of staff
  • Communicate directly with employees for suggestions and feedback.
  • Manage portfolio of ongoing project work to identify cross-functional dependencies, help make resourcing decisions and trade-offs, and build awareness of work across impacted stakeholders.
  • Provide dedicated support to team or function to prioritize their initiatives, give input into the design of central projects, and help execute considering operational nuances of their tasks.
  • Leverage data driven insights to identify operational weaknesses and improve on them
  • Develop systems to support the achievement of corporate goals
  • Determine the staffing needs of the organization based on its structure
  • Monitor attendance and productivity levels of staff
  • Propose career development for high performing employees who demonstrate potential for higher responsibilities

Qualification and Experience

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree with 8 - 10 years work experience.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests
  • Good leadership, supervisory and people management skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • High sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability
  • High level of integrity
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Experience with effectively managing people and tasks

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
