Job Title: Coordinating Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Reports to: Head Office

Job Objectives

  • Support Business Team to drive Micro-insurance Top-line budget and grow our market share in the Corporate and retail market.
  • The main focus of this position is to ensure Development of Micro-insurance General Business and Life Insurance within Low Income earner, Micro and small Business Enterprises,
  • Develop business opportunity through strategic partnership with MFB, MFI, Fin Tech, Cooperative Societies, Community Base Association and other Channels and institutions that are involved in development of people at the Bottom of the Pyramid.
  • Handles the entire range of sales activities, including relationship building, initial meeting/demonstrations, and presentations and closing business.
  • Works with Business Development Manager to Set sales strategy.
  • Provides information with regard to industry trends, reasons for wins and losses, state of the competitive marketplace, product development needs, and Develop New Initiatives to Drive Business Growth
  • Support the implementation of the marketing and sales strategies.
  • You will be directly involved in sales and also co-ordinate sales activities through established Partner Agents or Direct Agents and support their activities in order to derive optimal value for the organisation.
  • You will also be creative in delivering low valued and low premium Micro-insurance products that can add value to different strata of the market,
  • Ensure delivery of effective and efficient service to customers, proper management of customer’s relationship for the growth of our clientele base and overall profitability of the business.
  • Responsible for Sales and Business development throughout assigned Region
  • Attend Partner Agents customer meeting to Educates our customers on products process and handles customers’ complaints by generating necessary feedback.
  • Develops Relationship to create an opportunity to cross sell other products in an existing Partner Platform
  • Develops business opportunity through Clusters, Cooperatives, Trade and Market Associations, Unions, Aggregators, Community Association etc.
  • Any other roles that may be assigned by the Business Development Manager

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Degree with 3-5 years work experience.
