Executive Assistant Duties & Responsibilities

The role and function of an Executive Assistant includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Assist in the preparation of scheduled reports
  • Order, monitor and manage office supplies
  • Book and organize travel arrangements
  • Make and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Accurately recording minutes from meetings.
  • Greeting visitors and deciding if they should be able to meet with executives.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
