We are recruiting to fill the position below:       Job Title: HR Business Partner Location: Lagos Reports to: VP, Human Resources Job Summary

  • This candidate is required to execute a reward system for the organisation which will include compensation structure and performance management.
  • Provide with updated HR Data and analytics in making strategic decisions. Oversee all human resources operations and ensure they are aligned with the department’s goals.
  • Supporting the VP, Human Resources to express new ideas and suggest solutions, considering budget limitations and our company culture.
Responsibilities
  • Design compensation packages and bonus programs that align with the company’s strategic plan
  • Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees
  • Conduct research on employee satisfaction (e.g. using surveys and quantitative data)
  • Renew our compensation plans with monetary and non-monetary benefits based on employee needs
  • Keep track of prevailing pay rates and make sure we offer competitive compensation plans
  • Draft job descriptions, job analyses and classifications
  • Structure compensation in ways that will yield the highest value for the organisation
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee benefit programs
  • Track compensation and benefits bench-marking data
  • Provide regular analytics update that will enhance HR effectiveness and assist in making strategic decisions
  • Analyse trends and metrics with the HR department
  • Monitor functional performance metrics and conduct periodic performance appraisals
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals
  • Evaluate training programs and suggest new HR engagement strategies
  • Evaluate staffing needs and oversee recruitment efforts
  • Improve relations between staff and employers
Requirements
  • First degree in Human Resources Management, Management, Finance or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
  • Thorough knowledge of labour legislation
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • HR Business Partnering (with core experience in Reward & Performance Management)
