Beckley Consulting Limited - We are a company with special focus on provision of professional support services for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). We also provide and manage out-sourced labour, temporary or permanent, semi-skilled or skilled, for small and big organisations. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Accountant Location: Lekki, Lagos Activities

  • Prepare staff payroll monthly and ensure compliance with statutory deductions
  • Provide necessary support to the MD in managing profitability and cash flow
  • Provide cost accounting information for pricing and management decisions
  • Coordinate and follow up audit of financial statements
  • Any other job which may be assigned by management
  • Maintain proper and adequate books of accounts for all company transactions
  • Prepare quarterly management accounts and budgetary control reports highlighting the financial position of the company
  • Update the following reports when due: sales figures and collection detail, credit control and month end activity.
  • Prepare Finance reports – reconciliation of available cash, and invoice analysis, etc
  • Manage tax and other statutory payments - VAT, PAYE tax, and Withholding tax, etc
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements and review finance charges for compliance with CBN guidelines
  • Design and implement internal control measures to ensure appropriate approvals before payments are made.
Accountabilities:
  • Monthly activity report highlighting challenges that require attention
  • Periodical reports of revenue figures and collection details, and credit control
  • Monthly and Quarterly management accounts and budgetary control reports
  • Payment of taxes and other statutory fees by due dates
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Qualifications:
  • First Degree or its equivalent in Accounting/Finance related discipline
  • Chartered Accountant
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years accounting experience
  • Ability to use basic accounting software
Skills:
  • Computer knowledge

Remuneration
  • N200,000 monthly gross.
