Due to internal expansion, they have decided to hire a qualified candidate to fill the position below:     Job Title: Social Media Executive Location: Lagos Island, Lagos Responsibilities

  • Lead social media activities including content development and daily management of Facebook, Twitter and other social media platform accounts, increasing engagement with diverse audiences.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business; Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.
  • Continuous monitoring of online conversations across all the brand’s active social media platforms
  • Flag any negative comments to the team / client and formulate strategy to best mediate conversations
  • Ensure consistency of messages across multiple networks
  • Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, press releases and podcasts)
  • Lead social listening activities and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Establish our web presence to boost brand awareness.
  • Prepare reports for the team / client on usage statistics.
Person Profile Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication or in relevant field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 0-6months post NYSC working experience.
  • Proven experience as a Digital media specialist
  • Basic graphic manipulation skills (Photoshop, ImageReady)
  • Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity or other media editing software.
Skills Required:
  • Extensive knowledge of social networking channels e.g You Tube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Googl + wikis and blogs etc
  • Editing and reformatting of creative materials provided e.g. building out digital creative
  • Building Custom Tabs within Facebook
  • Using client tracking tools for reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Adobe programmes (e.g Photoshop)
