Job Title: Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- The chosen social media manager will be a part of the Betmojo Marketing team towards crafting and effecting the brand’s social media strategy as a part of the wider strategy.
- Defining and implementing a social media strategy to maximize brand exposure and build engaged communities.
- Create, source and publish relevant and compelling social media content in line with the brand tone.
- Monitor audience engagement and provide data and insights to the wider content team.
- Creating and implementing a social media calendar and production of social content
- Work alongside the marketing team to ensure social media content and strategy fits into the wider marketing plan.
- Coordinate with customer service agents to manage and escalate customer complaints via social channels.
Role Overview
- Your role includes the planning, creating, executing, and managing and monitoring company's Social Media accounts and strategy in order to drive brand awareness, acquisition, and other relevant business & brand metrics.
- These social media accounts include but are not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- The ideal candidate must have a good knowledge of sport and betting, and have a proven track record managing social media channels. Sport is 24/7 and you will be at times required to be flexible with working hours.
Essential Skills
- Experience of creating and posting entertaining and engaging social media content.
- Experience of devising and managing social media campaigns.
- Ability to design and edit multimedia content (video & still images).
- Ability to write punchy, compelling copy.
- Ability to understand analytics data (Facebook, Twitter, Google) and report on performance.
- Comprehensive sporting and betting knowledge.
- Flexible to work outside standard working hours when required.
- Experience with Sports Betting Brands is a must and gives you an advantage.
- At least fouryears of experience managing and developing social media strategies for brands in Nigeria.
- Great communication skills and highly creative.
- Extensive knowledge of and previous experience working with all top social media platforms.
- Knowledge of Design / Design thinking. You will be working with a designer; however, this helps you collaborate better with the designer and ensures flexibility.
- Ability to understand analytics data (Facebook, Twitter, Google) and report on performance.
