Peen Nigeria Limited, is licensed to provide Stevedoring services in Nigeria, and we are presently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:     Job Title: Hotel Steward Location: Lagos Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practice

• Minimum of SSCE

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Knowledge of English language

• Take grilled food orders from waiters
• Season and prepare food items for grilling
• Grill requested food items in accordance to customers' specifications and preset recipes
• Manage portions of grilled food items and garnish them
• Regulate temperature of broilers, grills and roasters
• Wash, cut and peel meats and vegetables prior to preparing them for cooking
• Taste and evaluate food items before serving
• Receive raw food items from suppliers
• Ensure that all supplied items are of good quality and accurate quantity
• Ensure refrigeration and rotation of food items

• Candidate must be able to prepare different types of grills
• Candidates must be able to multi task
• Candidates must have minimum of SSCE or Vocational training in related field
• Candidate must have minimum of 6 months experience.
• Candidates should reside at Yaba, Shomolu, Akoka, Bariga, Fadeyi and Onike Iwaya axis.
