Detailed Description
- NRC is looking for a Procurement Technical Assistant for our field office in Maiduguri, Borno State in Northern Nigeria. The purpose of the Procurement Technical Assistant is to support programme activities in Maiduguri, Brono State
- NRC initiated country operations in Nigeria in June 2015, in order to respond to the critical and increasing needs in the country. NRC currently has a full team based in Maiduguri and a coordination office in Abuja. NRC is currently providing services across various sectors namely; Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFI); Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH); Food Security; Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) and Education in order to address identified humanitarian needs.
- The Procurement Technical Assistant reports to Procurement Officer.
Responsibilities
- Collect cash advances and proceed with cash procurements
- Prepare requests for quotations and source bids & quotations in accordance with NRC procurement regulations.
- Liaise with receiving units and suppliers to collect invoices and Delivery documents.
- Prepare the payment request, ensure complete paper trail is attached and submit to the Procurement Officer for verification.
- Maintain proper files for procurement documents (as per local filling procedures)
- Assist the Procurement Officer in establishing and coordinating routine processes and procedures for the Procurement department.
- Any other task reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications

Role and Responsibilities

Job Title: Emergency Response Manager

Purpose
- The purpose of the Emergency Response Manager is to coordinate and lead the different emergency response initiatives in Nigeria.
