Job Title: Strategic Knowledge Management Specialist

Job Description

  • Incumbent will support the development and implementation of best practices and high quality systems necessary for the measurement of Heartland Alliance International Nigeria's projects to determine the critical successes as it relates to its input, output outcome and impact across all supported entities as well as establish mechanism for routine tracking and evaluation of the effectiveness the organizations projects, programs and activities,
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
  • Bachelor's Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, International Health, or related discipline.
  • At least 6 years post NYSC experience in monitoring and evaluation of health and/or programs, preferably related to HIV/AIDS and reproductive health (maternal and newborn health experience), including the use of data to inform decision making, communication, planning resource allocation and other strategic initiatives
  • An advanced degree in epidemiology or Biostatistics will be an advantage
  • Experience in similar role in PEPFAR/Global Fund supported program will be a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of evaluation research methods (qualitative and quantitative), including data processing. database design and data entry.
  • Ability to work with MS Word, ACCESS. Excel, Power Point, Epi Info and SPSS at an advanced level
  • Pay attention to details with the ability to follow, apply, interpret and explain instructions and / or guidelines.

  • Demonstrated understanding of and familiarity with a range of applied research, monitoring and evaluation approaches including health information systems
  • Experience in designing strategic information and communication plans.
  • Good working knowledge of descriptive, inferential and advanced statistics
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues,
  • Proven ability in the monitoring and evaluation of large, complex health related projects.



Job Title: Strategic Knowledge Management Advisor

Job Description
  • Incumbent shall be responsible for monitoring and evaluation functions of Heartland Alliance International- Nigeria and providing advice and support to local implementing partners.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
  • Bachelor's Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, International Health, or related discipline.
  • At least 4 years' post NYSC experience in monitoring and evaluation of health and/or programs, preferably related to HIV/AIDS and reproductive health (maternal and newborn health experience), including the use of data to inform decision making, communication, planning resource allocation and other strategic initiatives
  • Experience in similar role in PEPFAR/GlobaI Fund supported program will be a strong advantage
  • Proven ability in the monitoring and evaluation of large, complex health-related projects
  • Knowledge of evaluation research methods (qualitative and quantitative), including data processing, database design and data entry.
  • Ability to work with MS Word, ACCESS, Excel. Power Point, Epi Info and SPSS.
  • Significant working experience in monitoring and evaluation at the community, state and national levels,
