Job Title: Quality Control / Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Personnel (QHSE)

Job Description

  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining a safe work environment, and upholding HSE protocols in all operations. This role is critical in driving operational excellence and minimizing risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control:

  • Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements.
  • Ensure that all materials and products meet internal and external quality benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Ensure all projects meets quality requirement.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

  • Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses and provide detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices within the organization.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Organize and lead safety training sessions and workshops for employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISPON Certificate, ISO Lead Auditor Certificate and others) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively train and guide teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and quality/HSE management tools.
  • Proven experience in Quality Control and HSE roles, preferably in [specify industry, e.g., manufacturing, construction, oil and gas].
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, project quality control and HSE regulations.

Salary
N350,000 - N450,000 / month.
