Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business goals.
  • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
  • Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies by providing financial forecasts and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and development opportunities to finance team members.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior management team based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and maintain an effective system of internal controls.
  • Promote collaboration between the finance department and other departments within the organization.
  • Support business development initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to evaluate and pursue new business opportunities.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
