Agaji Global Unity Foundation (AGUF) is an impartial, neutral, and independent Non-Governmental Organization whose mission exclusively established to promote life in underserved communities through empowering communities to know and protect lives including their environment towards ensuring safe habitation through participatory methodology. AGUF was established in 2008 but was incorporated in the year 2013 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). AGUF exists to partner with government and relevant agencies to promote and strengthen humanitarian law and a universal principle that seeks to honor the dignity of mankind with support and believe that Life is worth living and living well.

Job Description

  • Agaji Global Unity Foundation (AGUF) is currently looking to fill the role of HEALTH Program Manager who will ensure technical implementation of HEALTH Project in Adamawa Guyuk & Shelleng LGAs, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractual activities are completed on time, within budget and with acceptable quality.
  • Conduct routine data quality checks on all data submitted/synchronized to ensure conformity with the project demands.
  • Overseethe work of Health program staff in order to ensure good compliance of activities within the objectives of the mission and of proposals - this includes regular visits to the field sites in order to evaluate achievements,to discuss the constraints encountered, the possible solutions and to make recommendations for current and future programs.
  • Analyze and report on the evolving health issues needs and provide clear recommendations for interventions.
  • Follow up of Health program budgets in liaison with the Executive director to ensure budget expenditure is in line with program objectives and timeline.
  • Participate in coordination meeting holds at state levels.

Position Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or any field.
  • Commitment to upholding AGUF’s values, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office software Skills (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word).
  • Willing and able to be based and travel regularly within states, LGAs and remote areas, where services are limited.
  • Additional training courses specific to HEALTH is an added advantage
  • 3 - 5 years relevant working experience, in Emergency management/supervisory capacity.
  • Strong computer literacy, organizational and planning skills, report writing, budget oversight.
