Job Title: Program Officer
Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Collaborating with the management team to design and develop programs aligned with the NGO's mission and objectives.
  • Project Planning: Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for program implementation.
  • Grant Writing and Fundraising: Identifying funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, and securing financial support for programs.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with donor requirements, government regulations, and organizational policies. Preparing and submitting timely reports to donors and other stakeholders.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth program implementation. Communicating program updates, successes, and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptation: Identifying challenges and barriers to program implementation and proposing solutions. Adapting program strategies based on lessons learned and changing contexts.
  • Partnership and Networking: Establishing and maintaining relationships with donors, partner organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to support program activities.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Designing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness and impact. Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to stakeholders.
  • Capacity Building: Providing training and capacity-building support to staff, volunteers, and partner organizations involved in program implementation.
  • Advocacy and Public Relations: Advocating for the NGO's causes and programs through public speaking, media engagement, and networking events.

Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
