Dobiyan Women and Youth Empowerment Initiative is a non governmental non- profit, non-political and non –Religious organisation founded in 1998, but Registered with CORPOARTE Affairs commission in November, 2010 certificate number CAC/IT/NO 41841. Dobiyan women and youth empowerment initiative is a non-governmental organisation that is concerened with assisting rural women, youth and children towards productive living in the community. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: VSLA Supervisor Location: Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha LGA in Adamawa State Duration: 22 Months with possible extension Starting period: February, 2019 Slot: 3 Openings
Scope of Work
  • VSLA supervisors will make sure all aspects of Vilage Saving and Loans project are completed smoothly
  • In order to make sure VSLA projects and services are done correctly.
  • VSLA supervisor will supervise VSLA activities and Facilitators.
  • Make sure beneficiaries have access to VSLA services
Responsibilities
  • Community Sensitization, awareness raising and mobilization for project start-up at community level,
  • Assessment for the identification and selections community-peculiar gender trades/skills
  • Establishment and strengthening of vocation skill centres/trainers and consultants at locations requiring such services.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of University Degree
Job Title: Enumerator Location: Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha LGA in Adamawa State Duration:  7 days with possible extension Starting period:February, 2019 Slot: 15 Openings Scope of Work
  • Enumerators, will conduct research on DWYEI.
  • They will collect household and demographic information by canvassing their assigned areas. Enumerators will appropriately document and report the results they find.
  • The Enumerator will carryout baseline survey in Mute North, Mubi South and Maiha ISA to conduct needs assessment, baseline analysis and mapping and identification of early recovery,
Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the livelihood officer
  • Conduct Baseline Survey using GPS and DDK applications
  • Collect data and compile report.
Qualification
  • Minimum of a Diploma.
