Michael Stevens Consulting - We are a long established and well respected multi-disciplinary management and financial consulting firm with offices in several locations across Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Distribution Management System Operator Locations: Delta, Edo and Anambra Responsibilities

  • Ensure all DMS tools are in good working condition daily
  • Attend morning meeting to review DMS issues/opportunities with the team
  • Ensure all stock receipts are accurately captured in the System.
  • Allocates stock to all SFA mobile users mapped to the DB before 9 am daily.
  • Print day’s Opening Stock report and reconciles with the Warehouse Manager
  • Note stock variances at SKU level and sends reports reasons to team.
  • Ensure sales to Walk-in customers are entered individually into the system
  • Conducts End-of-Day stock reconciliation in the System for all SFA mobile users.
Qualifications
  • OND holder (Minimum)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Good understanding of basic stock management principles - layout
  • Ability to manage people at Sales Reps level
  • Good communication skills - Written and Verbal

  • Ensures full delivery of the business target with coverage area i.e.100% achievement of depletion volumes into outlets within assigned open market, market share growth and outlet activation standards fully executed in all called on outlets
  • Ensures listing of innovations and priority brands, and ability to pre-sell total portfolio in the right quantity within assigned outlets; also ensuring that pre-sold orders are fully delivered in time by Van Delivery Rep (VDR) or stocked in the DB’s open market drop points.
  • Drive incremental depletion through effective management of promotional activity in assigned outlets
  • Reviews outlet database with the Territory Manager on a monthly basis and ensure update on Salesforce Automation tool (SFA). 100% and accurate use of SFA device to capture all selling/trade activities
  • Recommends and implements Sales recommendations to drive incremental depletion and counter competitive activities in all outlets within assigned coverage
  • Drive effective coverage of 150 unique stores ensuring all unique stores within the permanent journey plan are visited at least 4 times a month.
Qualifications and Experience Required (Max 5 - 8 key requirements)
  • Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent.
  • Some commercial expertise gained across field sales/consumer/customer marketing is an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of Selling capabilities, Outlet activation standards, outlet segmentation, building relationships, persuasive selling and brand passion
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Good commercial understanding numerical skills, a high level of computer literacy
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Fully geographically mobile
