Job Title: Digital Transformation Manager

Job Summary
- Support the identification, prioritization, design, development and support of integrated digital choices that the Business Unit (BU) needs to make to deliver superior, sustainable returns ahead of business plan targets in the near (operational) and long term (Strategic) focused on (i) Consumer, (ii) Customer and (iii) Analytics.
- Advise key system stakeholders across Strategic Digital imperatives that result in the identification of competitively advantaged solutions to key digital priorities and growth opportunities delivered through optimal resource allocation thereby maximizing the BU’s ROI and resulting in sustainable performance ahead of BU targets.
Responsibilities
Digital: Align on a common vision and strategy for the consumer, customer and analytic digital transformation of our System, leveraging both internal and external partnerships (tech firms, agencies, eRetailers, CPGs, startups) to maximize value and impact:
- BU digital champion: Liaise with digital community to identify opportunities and share best practices
- Set an end-to-end integrated, common vision and strategy for the digital transformation across their system
- Lead the digital strategic planning and prioritization in the BU, including overall goal setting and performance management
- Work with Marketing and Commercial teams to integrate Digital strategy into Digital Marketing and eCommerce plans
- Steward and role-model the organization to embrace a Digital growth mindset in all they do
- Creating foundational digital capabilities to support the connected ecosystems
- Serving as a catalyst to digitize internally, in order to be more agile and engaging
- Build a digital measurement discipline, based on common KPI’s for targeting, tracking and evaluating System investments, in order to maximize ROI and delivery of shared learnings across markets
- Ensure BU’s digitial strategy remains ahead of relevant digital trends
- Lead effort to drive BU digital experimentation: (1) Idea / opportunity Identification → (2) Experiment (build business case for seed funding) → (3) Best practices (justification for commercialization funding) → (4) Mass Adoption (Scale funding)
- Renewal: Known to KO and the world but new to the BU (Localize)
- Disruptive: Known to TCCC but new to the world (Lift and shift and localize)
- Transformative: Known to the world but new to TCCC
- Exponential: New to TCCC and the world (innovate)
- Encouraging a fluid, learning culture that monitors trends, disruptive market forces and competitive moves
- Drive innovative business development and partnership opportunities with the leading players in the digital space, including e-commerce, why leveraging the System’s massive manufacturing and distribution capabilities, in order to grow with consumers and customers
- Support effectively the EMEA Digital Council in order to maximize synergies and common bets
- Represent KO System as a digital ambassador in appropriate forums
Capability building: Support BU Digital agenda via talent development and capability building
- Ensure that the BU builds the requisite current and future generation digital capabilities to remain competitive and better informed
- Ensure that there is a consistent, accurate, reliable, dynamic (up-to-date), accessible, system wide single source-of-truth to inform near term (operational) and long term (strategic) decisions
Big Data Advanced Analytics:
- Embed BDAA capabilities to ensure they can make better, more informed decisions faster by translating data into insights into actions. Monetize the analytical insights by fully embedding the use case in the business
Consumer:
Develop a relevant, dynamic, long term digital marketing framework anchored on delivering against the existing and innovative portfolio:
- Develop a clear Digital Marketing Strategy and operating model
- Drive customer acquisition and value
- Develop and manage marketing technology and infrastructure
- Work with marketing to ensure ROI optimization
- Ensure strategy remains ahead of relevant digital trends including (but not limited to) Mobile, Programmatic (e.g., Social media), Content marketing, Platforms (e.g., Facebook, Eskimi)
- Ensure truly Integrated media plan that encompasses digital into Strategic and Annual business plans
- Develop strategy to drive integrated presence in across all channels including alternative channels (WhatsApp, etc.).
Customer:
- Drive the BU’s e-Commerce strategic agenda ensuring they remain ahead of market trends:
- Ensure KO products are superiorly available within “a clicks reach of desire’
- Develop strategy to drive presence in alternative channels (WhatsApp, etc.)
- Explore consumer and customer data access opportunities
- Work with the Customer and Commercial teams to actively monitor and support channel development.
Capability Building:
- Embed a digital culture within the BU supported by a ‘single source of truth for data.
Work Closely With:
- Lead Extensive High Level Strategic / Operational Interaction with System partners against a digital agenda:
- Franchise /Function Heads- System (WABU, Bottler) Leadership Team
- Business Unit Functions and geographic franchises
- BUPO (Business Unit President’s office)
- TCCC Growth function (Strategy, Commercial, Marketing), innovation and digital teams
- TCCC and EMEA CIOs, TCCC Digital council leadership
- Europe, Middle East and Africa Group leadership, corporate (Atlanta)
- External strategic 3rd party vendors and system partners including technocrats (Digital, K&I, etc.)
- IT and Digital leading companies and start ups
- Digital leads from CPG and other industries
- Research / agency partners
- Research leads from CPG and other industries
- TCCC contracted consultants
Nature and Purpose of the Interaction:
- Thought leadership on key digital strategic opportunities and challenges facing the BU: lead analysis, insights and recommendations to support WACA strategy plan development and implementation
- Driving cross functional engagement and alignment on key digital strategic issues
- Be able to pivot and translate between highly technical digitally content discussions and layperson speak
- Develop deep understanding of digital strategy issues across the BU
- Influence organization towards improved digital capability
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong experience in project management methods to include AGILE solutions delivery and quality management, as well as experience managing operating budgets and project budgets
- Consistently demonstrated success in many challenging and diverse business situations, through a solid ability to influence and execute complex initiatives across a wide range of departments, partners, disciplines, and experience levels
- In depth understanding of consumers and trade landscape
- Ability to work in a fluid organization setting where the focus is the initiative (work); ability to quickly establish oneself in a new project team; ability to move from one team to another quickly and work in multiple teams at the same time.
- Exposure to technology platforms for content distribution, mobile technologies, digital merchandising, digital design and user experience, digital marketing and CRM
- Experience with advanced analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, etc
- Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Projects)
- Consulting experience preferably from top tier consulting firms.
