- The COO will be accountable for: Overseeing commercial and operational activities of business activities
Job Summary
- To oversee company’s organizations ongoing operations and procedures ensuring the commercial targets of the business are delivered in line with growth expectations whilst maintaining profitability.
- You will be responsible for ensuring company’s internal systems and processes across the organization are best in class. You will be required to manage inter-departmental functions to ensure there is an effective communication loop between technical, finance, commercial and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a strong emphasis on commercial and technical disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years of consultative experience in COO or similar leadership role.
- Previous experience as senior executive in FMCG/Power/Industrial/Solar/Telco
- Prior experience working for a large company in a matrix environment
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers.
- Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
- Willingness and ability to live and travel within Nigeria with occasional trips out as required.
- Commercially astute, capable of evaluating complex pricing models

- Experienced in Senior Staff Performance Management

Key Competencies Required:
- Take ownership of the company’s commercial delivery of services to our chosen client base.
- Provide leadership to the senior management team in identifying areas for continuous improvement, including technical, commercial, sales, and go to market strategy.
- Ensure project economics are assessed and aligned with company return objectives.
- Demonstrate competency in strategic planning and business development of existing business whilst contributing to the assessment of areas for expansion be it sector or geography.
- Accountable for timely and accurate reporting for the operational business including forecasting of pipeline and sales per the normal reporting cycles as well as input into yearly business planning e.g. Strategy sessions etc
- Continuously update understanding of the customers’ changing operational challenges, develop deep technical knowledge including awareness of current and future trends in power and cooling technology and industry funding trends.
- Manage professional relations with key customers and industry bodies to promote Company’s visibility in our chosen sectors.
- Attract, retain, educate and develop world-class commercial and operational teams to realize our go to market strategy.

Job Title: Partner Sales Officer
Location: Lagos
Reports to: Head, Enterprise Business
Job Summary
- We are looking for a professional with the understanding, insight of the business and practice of OEMs’ and how we can build and accelerate our revenue through our partnership with them
- The role requires crafting and executing mutually beneficial strategies while delivering to our customers superior customer service.
Key Competencies Required:
- Contribute to the achievement of the annual sales revenue of the company.
- Develop, direct and execute a balanced and forward-thinking revenue plan;
- Participate in Cyberspace’s business development process including ensuring effective understanding & management of clients’ expectation(s).
- Identify the various consumer targets within various distribution channels and create a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve our desired revenue and partnership level.
- Liaise with marketing to generate the desired focus and visibility on our partnership relationship and initiatives.
- Understand the growth initiatives of each OEM and execute a plan that aligns our sales and marketing initiatives against each brand and commercial requirements.
- Work with the marketing team of the various OEM to gain part sponsorship of the annual marketing budget.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Pure Science or related discipline
- Professional qualification is desirable (e.g. MBA, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience with at least 3years being technical related sales
- Knowledge of the principle of Intermediate knowledge of local and international industry trends, standards and regulations is desirable
- Proven track record of building deep sales relationships
- Strong solution selling skills and relationship building skills
- Advanced knowledge of sales/marketing principles & techniques is essential
- Advanced knowledge of the Nigerian IT distribution industry & channel management
- Intermediate knowledge of technical/network solution development is essential.

- Thorough knowledge of the market and its competition based on previous relevant work experience in a technical sales position

Requirements
- Bachelor, Master Electro mechanics or Electronics (specialisation measurement and control technology is an advantage)
- National Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Computer literate
