Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Job Description
- A high-performing Sales manager is needed to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative
- He/She would be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.
Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Business Administration or a related field
- Hands-on experience in product marketing
- Must reside in Ikorodu or its environs
- Proven experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Job Title: Logistics Sales Account Executive
Location: Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- Bring in new business by actively cold calling and following up on all leads provided in a timely fashion
- Solve service problems, tracks order/delivery errors, call on accounts to resolve issues and follow up on special orders
- Develop and maintain historical perspective on the marketplace to analyze and predict future trends and needs. Also maintains familiarity with competitor’s products and services
- Work with the transportation department to facilitate timely customer deliveries
- Ability to be the expert in FMCG logistics solutions in order to train and teach existing sales team
- Additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- 2-4 years or more of sales experience with at least one (1) year of Fleet management experience
- Must be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans and relationships
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Proven success managing accounts and product life cycle
- Motivation to research and provide proactive solutions
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Understanding of Hausa language is an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software programs as needed.
