Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Lagos

Job Overview

• The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for organizing the general workforce of the company. This role requires the management and implementation of core HR functions as well as the operational aspect of the business.

Duties

• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
• Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee issues and facilitating conflict resolution.
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
• Analyze workforce trends and metrics to support business decisions.
• Monitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, absenteeism) and report to senior management.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Promote workplace health and safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. 
• Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance.
• Provide guidance to managers on conducting performance reviews and setting development goals.
• Coordinate internal and external training sessions and workshops.
• Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
• Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Previous experience in the same/similar industry is an added advantage.
• Perform another major task as assigned.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
