  • We are looking for a skilled Corporate Chef who can prepare Indigenous and Continental dishes according to Menu.
  • Candidate must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals for corporate purposes.
  • They must be deft and apt in multi-tasking and very experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important
Responsibilities
  • Set up the kitchen with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
  • Cook food in various utensils or grilles
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Ensure great corporate presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Corporate Chef
  • Minimum age of 40 years and above with vast experience with a reputable corporate organization.
  • Ordinary National Diploma or its equivalent; Diploma from a Culinary School will be an added advantage
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
  • Very good communication skills
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.

  • Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
  • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance to NSITF.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
  • Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.Sc. Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, International Relations or any related field is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years cognate experience as a Human Resource Manager in a reputable Manufacturing/Logistics firm is a MUST
  • Must have professional Certifications E.g SHRE / CIPM certified
  • Must have Vast Analytical Skills and Knowledge of HR Software.
