  • Asset Schedule Maintenance - Prepayment
  • Liabilities Maintenance - Accruals
  • Statutory Returns to NAICOM & other Regulators
  • Conduct Audit & Liaison with External Auditors & Consultants.
Overseeing Functions:
  • Depreciation of PPE, Intangible Assets
  • Group Life Production schedule
  • Sign off on all call over daily.
  • Budget & Planning
  • Tax & Statutory Matters
  • Financial Reporting & Performance Management
  • General Ledger Review & Call Over
Key Responsibilities
  • To bring in IES Opening Balances
  • Overall Review of General Ledgers.
  • Liaison with the External Auditors, and LSIRS Officers
  • Preparation of Trade Payables and Trade Receivables and other sub-ledgers Schedules.
  • To manage the Accounts Staff for maximum performance.
  • To assist the CFO in his duties to the Management.
  • Working with the CFO on NAICOM Returns.
  • Identify Cash Advances overdue for retirement;
  • Liaise with the Technical dept. on Policy Loans, Fund in Trust
Requirements
  • Minimum Skill Required: B.Sc (Hons.) in Accounts and Social Sciences, HND (Accounts), Members of ICAN,
  • Working Experience spanning 5 – 10 Years in relevant Industry.

  • Must be ready to give timely report to the Management.
