  • The Job of the Chief Security Officer is to provide world class security support service to the Company’s Operations with the aim of creating and ensuring a secured environment for the day to day business operations.
  • The CSO will develop policies and procedures regarding areas such as disaster recovery, business continuity planning, loss and fraud prevention, privacy, risk management and access control needs of the company’s facilities.
  • Other functions expected form the CSO includes to build strategic and comprehensive security program that defines, develops, maintains and implements policies and processes that enable consistent, effective security practices which minimize risk and ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of assets with respect to Factory Security, Company Fleet, factory Operations, Supply Chain (Ports Operations, Security of Logistics Routes, Finished goods security, and Warehouse Security, Tax Stamps Security) and the general operations of the factory including all aspects of personnel security and company information security.
Main Responsibilities
  • Develop procedures to ensure physical safety of employees and visitors, and is responsible for initial and periodic information security risk assessment/analysis, mitigation and remed iation
  • Manage the development and implementation of global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures, prioritize security initiatives, and ensure security is maintained and updated
  • Oversees, develops and/or delivers initial and ongoing security training to the workforce
  • Implement video surveillance, investigate security breaches, and implement disciplinary procedures
  • Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state security laws, licensing and certification requirements and accreditation standards, and maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies
  • Provide strategic vision and direction in security aspects of an organization, develop and implement emergency procedures and incident responses, and conduct audits to find holes in security platform
  • Serves as information security consultant to all departments for all data security related issues
  • Create global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security, and develop risk management assessments
  • Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the company
  • Initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to foster information security awareness within the organization, and evaluate security trends, evolving threats, risks and vulnerabilities and apply tools to mitigate risk as necessary
  • Oversee network of vendors and directors who secure the company’s assets, including but not limited to safeguarding of intellectual property and computer systems
  • Collaborates with organization senior management to establish governance for the security program, and serves in a leadership role for security compliance
Job Requirements
  • Good analytical and planning skills, flexibility and ability to deal well with ambiguity
  • Ability to build, maintain and extend relationships across the organization
  • Able to exert influence and having a proactive approach, with experience of looking for and preparing solutions in your previous roles in order to reach a solution.
  • A sound knowledge and hands-on experience in commercial security within the FMCG sector
  • Knowledge or experience in crime trend analysis and a general knowledge on crime monitoring.
  • A proven track record in providing customer service in a security support service and active follow ups, ability to demonstrate a good awareness of relevant business security activities.
