Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated Human Resource Officer with a proven track record of high performance.
  • The ideal candidate will support and enhance HR functions, manage employee relations, oversee recruitment, and ensure compliance with HR policies and standards.
  • This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • HR Initiatives & Systems: Execute and support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, staffing, and contract administration.
  • HR Policy & Compliance: Interpret and enforce HR policies, procedures, labor laws, and company standards.
  • Performance Review: Support the performance review process, including promotions, appraisals, and employee feedback.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a liaison for employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Office Oversight: Supervise office assistants, utility staff, and ensure basic office needs are met.
  • Employee Records: Maintain and update staff records according to company policy.
  • HR Projects: Assist in managing various HR projects in line with company strategy and objectives.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the health and safety of all employees, in line with industry regulations.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee compensation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • HRM certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Proven track record of high performance in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.

Salary
N160,000 / Month.
