Job Title: Business Development Officer (Engineering Construction)
Location: Nigeria
Job Summary
- The primary responsibility of this position will be to plan, lead and manage activities related to the identification, pursuit, and capture of commercial sales opportunities in the Construction and engineering sector.
- This will be accomplished by identifying potential leads, assisting in managing the Customer Relationship Management process, working with MANAGING Director to coordinate and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), and collaborating with marketing team to prepare marketing flyers and collateral information for client distribution.
- This position requires STRONG organizational abilities, time management skills, ensuring deadlines and deliverable are met, relationship building characteristics and strong leadership attributes.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Operations Director, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Develop technical and commercial knowledge of all our product offerings and services.
- Identify immediate and long-term needs of clients for company’s products and services on such projects.
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications and Experience
- A good degree in Engineering with a MBA (Sales/ Marketing) with a minimum of 7 years cognate experience in a Construction Engineering Company with track records of performance.

Job Title: Business Development Officer (Oil & Gas Sector)

Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, (Oil & Gas), your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Develop technical and commercial knowledge of all our product offerings and services.
- Identify immediate and long-term needs of clients for company’s products and services on such projects.
- Arrange meetings between Engineering & Procurement Companies and our partners.
- Liaise between the company and key agencies in the industry such as NAPIMS, DPR etc.
- Prospect for and acquire new and financially viable high-volume customers
- Gather new intelligence for the preparation of reports, tenders and presentations that will win the company contracts in on-going and up-coming projects.
- Define strategy for relating with each customer group and create a Customer Relationship Plan per group
- Interfacing with industry regulators and follow up on submitted tenders.
- Generate work orders, Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (P0)
- Effectively manage each customer account to ensure sales targets are fully achieved
- Ensure full payment for all supplies and services
- Demonstrate consistent sales development success and target — driven achievements.

Qualification:

Job Title: Business Development Manager (Oil & Gas Sector)

Job Summary
- The role of the Business Development Manager is to improve organization’s market position and achieve financial growth by identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, building key customer relationships, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
- This is a high- profile position that require a minimum of 10 years of successful business development in Oil and Gas sector. Out of which six (6) must have been spent at managerial level with responsibility for driving business sales targets successfully.
- Perfect understanding of bid and tender process in the Oil and Gas business sector with successful records of performance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Job Responsibilities

- Collate client — specific intelligence and produce weekly reports
- Interfacing with industry regulators and follow up on submitted tenders.

Job Title: Group Head, Business Development (Power Sector)
Location: Nigeria
Job Profile
- The Power Sector Business Development Group Head required leveraging his/her knowledge of the Nigeria and West Africa Powe,r sectors to develop profitable business opportunities for the Company’s products, manage the sales team and relevant channel partners across the company territories.
This roles will involve:
- Regional Go To Market Strategy Development to ensure we are able to present a compelling value proposition to the market place.
- Develop relationships with key industry stakeholders and customer executives to champion our solutions into the market place.
- Advise Product Management and Business Leadership on the company’s product roadmap
- Support the marketing team with material such as White Papers, Presentations, Blog Posts, etc. to support Sales and Marketing events and campaigns.
- Representation of the Organization at Industry Events and Company events to strategically position the company for emerging business opportunities.
- Direct Business Engagement with key customers to create and develop new and qualified opportunities within the power sector.
- Support the Direct Sales Team and Channel Partners in qualifying and developing profitable Sales Engagements.
- Providing both business insight and thought leadership into account and opportunity planning through customer engagement
Qualifications and Experience
- A good degree in Engineering and MBA (Sales/Marketing) with a minimum of 15 years cognate experience in the Power sector.
- A demonstrable understanding and experience; with records of accomplishment of performance in the Power sector is very key for this position.
- The role will require constant travel to client sites and offices.
