  • The Chairman’s vision is for an individual who can see potential for growth to join the company as its Senior Operations Manager and lead on this strategic vision.
  • You will be responsible for overall procurement strategy, whilst working with each business unit to lead centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts.
  • This will include working with the internal stakeholder from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery to meet stakeholder needs.
  • The potential for development in this role is vast with the ability to place your own stamp on the organization; setting up operations, processes and procedures to the highest standards expected.
Key Responsibilities
  • Directly oversee the day to day operations of various business activities with the objective of increasing shareholder value and position the organization for growth.
  • Develop awareness for the company’s product and services to maintain and enhance customer relationships.
  • Value creation with a world class supply base.
  • Development of organization procurement strategy.
  • Creation and improvement of best-practice based processes (e.g., leadership of high-value/strategic sourcing efforts)
  • Management of business process outsourcing activities
  • Selection and management of procurement systems
  • Review and direct the development of new market opportunities and requirements for existing services or new services offerings.
  • Provide personal judgement and experiences in market conditions, economic conditions, competitor analysis and government, legislative and regulatory matters.
  • Leadership of cross-functional teams across other business functions and initiatives
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years Oil & Gas experience (Preferably Procurement)
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing, procurement principles and best practices.
  • Held senior procurement/Operations role within an Oil & Gas Firm.
  • Strong leadership skills
