Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Description of Responsibilities
- As the Human Resources/Admin Manager, you are to guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources/Administrative Services, policies, and programs for the Company.
- You are to organize and lead HR/Admin practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality productivity & standards, goal setting/attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. This includes the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the Company's business goals.
Specially
You are to:
- Frame clear and easily implementable HR policies.
- Nurture and develop a motivated organization to meet business requirements.
- Develop the collective knowledge of Company staff to handle complex crises arising from dynamic/changing business environments.
- Address various HR/Admin aspects and varied competencies/skills to effectively handle the entire gamut of HR/Admin responsibilities from design to delivery.
- Plan and implement an effective HR Plan that is aligned with the Business Plan & overall organization's people agenda.
Delivery of Business Expectations to Attain Credibility
- Execute manpower planning & budgeting to have a roadmap along with business/departmental heads.
- Engage in manpower hiring as per the recruitment plan agreed along with business/departmental heads.
- Provide employee development and counseling assistance to employee/team members to enhance employee performance and productivity.
- Take adequate measures to retain good employees & protect high potential/performing employees.
- Keep your ear to the ground and reach out to all employees through communication with them at various intervals to gather insights and give appropriate feedback to the leadership team.
- Plan and execute sustainable interventions to keep employees motivated.
- Act as a business partner and provide dashboards/analytics to business/departmental heads to help them have a pulse of their team.
HR Delivery Agenda / Executive Effective Practices:
- Ensure statutory compliance status always.
- Execute "Employee Engagement" initiatives to keep staff together and make the workplace exciting, rewarding and engaging.
- Drive an effective learning and development agenda that impacts the employees & the Company (business).
- Have an updated repository of job descriptions for all roles in the Company along with measurable performance indicators for each role.
- Perform regular periodic (quarterly now, monthly from 2017) employee performance measurement
- Maintain employee records and files for ease of reference (online & physical copies of records).
- Communicate with employees and business heads for better alignment.
- Be astute to handle dynamics at the workplace and help employees overcome crises.
- Evaluate and improvise the current HR practices to keep up with time & external benchmarks.
- Update HR policies in line with the business and organization requirements.
- Keep an updated Employee Handbook with all relevant details and information.
- Design, update, and share Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of all HR processes.
- Conduct periodical employee surveys to collate insights and in turn design employee interventions accordingly to address concerned areas.
- Support & counsel business/departmental managers to effectively manage teams to ensure higher employee productivity.

Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 5-10 years experience.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / Month.
