Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • To implement all HR core processes and ensure effective HR service delivery
  • To ensure the organizational culture, organizational design, talent management, performance management, reward management, succession planning and all other HR requirement supports the business strategy.

Job Description

  • To develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • To implement strategic "Best Practice" HR policies and procedures
  • To coordinate and ensure a comprehensive resourcing plan for the organization
  • To manage the company strategic recruitment and selection and onboarding plan
  • To implement competency profiles and career development frameworks focused on business objectives
  • To coordinate organizational wide employee development plan based on competency profiles and individual career paths.
  • To implement employee engagement initiatives
  • To manage employee relations and address demands, grievances, or disciplinary issues
  • To ensure compliance of human resource procedures with regulatory requirements and ensure documentation and applicable records are maintained.
  • To design a filing and retrieval system for records – past and current
  • Manage service level agreement between HR and functional business units
  • To promote the company’s values and culture – Ensure team is aligned to company’s strategy and nurture a positive working environment
  • To oversee and coordinate performance management system (Team & companywide) that drives business objectives a high corporate performance.
  • To develop and implement the company’s reward strategy and administer employee compensation and benefit programs
  • To ensure implementation of an effective succession and employee development plan
  • To prepare monthly reports to Executive/Senior management and enable decision making through HR metrics
  • Provide leadership in the development of HR policies, rules, regulations, norms and standards, and ensure their implementation
  • To provide HR support to employees, functional business units and senior/executive management

Qualification, Knowledge, Skill And Experience

  • Professional membership – CIPM/CIPM/SHRM or equivalent
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent discipline
  • 8-10 years’ experience in HRM (With 4 years in a leadership role) desired
  • Excellent coaching and relationship building skills
  • Strategic HR
  • End to End talent strategy development and execution
  • Organization development and change management
  • Performance and reward management
  • Employee relations
  • Good knowledge of labour law
  • Must demonstrate numerical, financial and analytical abilities
  • Proven ability to persuade influence and build credibility across all levels
  • Consultancy skills, specifically diagnosis and contracting
