The Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State is one of the nine newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below in the University for non teaching Staff.


Central Laboratory/Equipment Maintenance Services unit
Position: Director, Central Laboratory Services (Contiss 15)
Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus eighteen (18) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of Nigerian institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) (and other relevant professional bodies) or a
Masters degree from a recognized university in a relevant field plus fifteen (15) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies.
Position: Senior Science Laboratory Instrument Technologists (Contiss 9)
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus six (6) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies or a Masters degree from a recognized University in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies.
Position: Senior Science Laboratory Technologists
(Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) – Contiss 9
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus six (6) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of NISLT or a
• Masters degree from a recognized University in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of NISLT
Position: Deputy Director, Central Laboratory Services ( Contiss 15)
Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus twelve (12) years post qualification NYSC cognate experience and membership of Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) and other relevant professional bodies or;
A Masters degree from a recognized University in a relevant field plus fifteen (15) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies.

Position: Science Laboratory Technologists II
(Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) – Contiss 7
Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus NYSC and membership of NISLT
Position: Science Laboratory Technologists I
(Physics, chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) – Contiss 8
Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of NISLT.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
Position: Senior System Analyst/Programmer Engineers (Contiss 9)
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution plus six (6) years post NYSC cognate experience; or
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized University, with three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience.
Position: Systems Analyst/Programmer Engineers I
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized university, plus NYSC experience

Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria:
