Job Description
- We are currently looking for an executive assistant to support the founder and the Management Governing Council of KCP.
- The ideal candidate for the job will be a solution-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- He/She will have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to management. Given the dynamic nature of KCP, we expect the ideal candidate to be flexible with foresight while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidence related to high-level systems and operations.
Objectives of this Role
Based in Jos, Nigeria, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting and coordinating all correspondence between the founder, MGC and all internal and external communication. The EA will also be responsible for carrying out the following tasks:
- With a primary responsibility of supporting the founder, provide support to the governing team as directed to ensure that KCP’s goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently.
- Maintain and refine internal processes that support to the highest-ranking executives organization-wide, coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow
- Manage communication between upper management and employees, liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks
- Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the senior executives’ priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.
Essential Functions
Under the technical supervision of HR, the Executive Assistant will:
- Manage professional and personal scheduling for the founder, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, and other organizational logistics.
- Screen all incoming phone calls, inquiries, visitors, and correspondence, and route accordingly
- Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, spreadsheet creation, and maintenance of filing system and contact database
- Take minutes during meetings
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the organization
- Manage complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiative.
- Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to senior executives
- Manage, coordinate, and arrange founder’s travel-related activities, including hotel booking, transportation, and meal coordination
- Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper management
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to keep organization’s information confidential
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with an aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Experience overseeing budgets and expenses
- Experience developing internal processes and filing systems

Salary
NGN960,000 - NGN1,320,000 Annually.
