About the Role

  • Our client is seeking a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record to fill the role of Finance Manager. The ideal candidate must be an ICAN certified with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for driving financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • GRN Costing Process-RM
  • Purchase Bill Processing
  • Service Bills Processing
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures.
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Journal Entries Processing
  • Bank Transaction Processing
  • Cash Transaction Processing
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Requirements

  • ICAN membership is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to commute/relocate
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.

Salary
N600,000 - N700,000 net per month.
