Job Summary

With a new and progressive vision for 2020, our client is looking at hiring Business Development Officer to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase company sales.

Responsibilities As a Business Development Officer, your major responsibilities include: Business Growth:

Gaining new business through brokers by identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local market.
Working with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client demand.
Increasing profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible.
Consulting and promoting the most effective cover for a particular need, taking a number of factors into account.
Perform retention of existing business by offering alternative products
Maintaining detailed knowledge of new and existing products by liaising with colleagues;
Ensuring credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors' products.
Monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed sales targets, sometimes including monitoring the performance of other sales staff.

Relationship Management:

Build strong business relationships with our existing clients and intermediaries
Segmenting a rapport with brokers and administrators who have provident schemes by targeting the members with an annuity solution.
Provide superior services to clients exceeding client expectations.
Market the Company's products as alternative to transfer funds to Jubilee Insurance
Working closely with Scheme Administrators
