We are currently implementing the Kaduna State Peace Building Academy Project. Our objective is to create and implement an integrated program of policy and accountability development, peace building promotion, stakeholder influencing and thought leadership to ensure maximum impact in promoting children’s rights and equality for girls.

Job Title: Grants Support Consultant
Location: Abuja
Reports to: Grants Coordinator
Role Purpose
- The purpose of this role is to support the Grants Coordinator in grants processes and management.
Dimensions of the Role:
- Support the Grants Coordinator in coordinating, and monitoring the implementation of donor funded projects and programs
- Support in managing donor grants transactions effectively and efficiently and ensure quality reporting
- Support in establishing a grants tracking mechanism in order to effectively follow up grant activities and to determine progress and make decisions where further action is needed.
- Support in proposal development process working with program staff. writing budget narratives, edit proposals, and ensure proper proposal and grant management procedures are followed.
- Support in ensuring that reports to donors are submitted on time; that reports are coherent and accurate (quarterly, interim or final reports).
- Support in review of donor agreements.
- Support in ensuring that grants are implemented in compliance with Plan International guidelines and relevant donor regulations.
- Maintain and update grant files related to proposals.
- Document and shared key compliance issues with Plan International staff and partners setting ground for compliance management
- Ensure all Funding Agreement Document (FADs) files are updated on a regular basis.
Accountabilities:
- This role does not directly supervise any role.
- Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and
- understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

Job Title: Senior Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Manager
Location: Abuja
Reports to: Head of Programs and Business Development
Role Purpose
- Reporting to the Head of Programmes and Business Development and based in Abuja, the Senior Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Manager will function as a member of a country management team
- providing technical support to the Country office projects on GE related functions.
- The position will support the overall management of the CO GE strategy within the Country Strategic Plan in line with Plan‘s new Global transformative strategy.
- The role will support CO projects to be more gender transformative and provide capacity building support to Project and partners.
- The Role will liaise with project GE advisors and coordinate with program managers and other members of the CMT.
Dimensions of The Role
- Provide support to the development, implementation and monitoring of CO projects in line with the new Global transformative agenda and Country CSP Gender Equality agenda.
- Lead on national engagement on Gender Equality issues including Child Early Forced Marriage and Violence against Women.
- Will lead gender equality and inclusion of the most vulnerable children (especially girls) across the strategy, programming, policy and grant acquisition domains of our work.

Accountabilities
Programme development & Quality Management:
- Ensure the Plan Nigeria Gender Transformative and Inclusion initiatives are aligned with both the Country and Global strategies.
- Foster strong relationships and work closely with internal and external stakeholders on gender and inclusion work to keep abreast of key policy changes and relevant external issues, and to maximize their role as advocates for the change Plan International Nigeria aims to achieve.
- Create strategic partnerships and close coordination with all stakeholders, including the Government and its relevant agencies, civil society, and donor agencies.

- Human Resource Development

Job Title: Emergency Nutrition Coordinator
Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Reports to Emergency Nutrition Specialist
Purpose
- Assist emergency nutrition specialist in coordination of the emergency nutrition response and recovery team in area of designing, planning, implementation, financial control, monitoring and evaluation of emergency nutrition and related responses
Dimensions of Role
- Raising and also managing up to 3 million USD per year from diversified donors.
- Support the project coordinator in each field office.
- Liaising with government ministries offices and bureaus at state and LGAs levels and also with UN agencies, NGOs and other civic organizations.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with organizational and statutory policies and laws on People and Culture legality matters and also has responsibility to ensure compliance of the design and implementation of emergency/recovery and resilience focused nutrition responses in line with applicable government policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Representing Plan Nigeria on behalf of nutrition specialist in humanitarian coordination meetings, taskforces, clusters and technical working groups that are related to nutrition in emergency and recovery/resilience context.

Programme Support:

- At least 1 year's direct experience providing services to children at risk and victims of abuse, exploitation and violence, providing gender-sensitive and child-friendly counseling services, and/or developing/implementing referral pathways for nutrition services
- Extensive experience in Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) and a proven experience in nutrition programs designing. Experiences of working in partnerships and advocate for improvements in the Nutrition Sector, as well as writing proposals, leadership, budget management and developing coherent and contextualized Nutrition Strategies.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Demonstrated understanding of the skills necessary to work with children and particularly vulnerable children
