Job Title: Technical Manager Location: Lagos Job Description

• To oversee the smooth running of the company’s production line and provide strategic planning and support to supervisors and production workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and production line performance to ensure that it is always in good working condition
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
• Develop and initiate systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective returns on assets
• Lead and drive operational activities of the factory to ensure consistent levels of production excellence are achieved and sustained
• Provide required resources and guidance that ensures fully engaged and talented workforce.
• Develop short and long-term strategies and initiatives for the facility to meet customer, market and competitive demands
• Establish and implement plant maintenance program based on best practices in the Beverage manufacturing industry
• Administer necessary training for new techniques, products, equipment and systems introduced into the business.

Qualifications/ Required Experience

• Versatile and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and technological trends (knowledge on the use of Tetra Pak equipment will be an advantage).
• Proven track record of handling a supervisory/managerial/leadership role in a manufacturing environment
• A Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) and background in Engineering (knowledge of maintenance engineering will be an advantage)
• Years of proven work experience as a Technical Manager in a factory or manufacturing company (the juice or beverage industry will be an advantage)
