Job Description

  • Coordinates all operational activities on the production line assigned to him to ensure efficient operation in accordance with all safety, quality, and GMP procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintains a high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness of the immediate work environment and equipment according to legal requirements, company procedure, and work instructions to ensure product safety.
  • Maintains logbook of production downtimes, and output on a shift-by-shift basis and alerts Shift Leader and Resident Engineer of machine malfunctions according to work instructions and procedures to minimize machine idle time.
  • Carries out all safety measures according to the company’s procedure and work instructions to prevent accidents as much as possible within the immediate working environment. Leads the team members by example and by holding everybody accountable for compliance.
  • Ensures all safety and quality checks are carried out as per work instructions and are recorded in appropriate logbooks and checklists in a timely manner. Supervisory tasks are complementary to machine operation tasks.
  • Operates the assigned production machine according to the company procedure and work instructions in order to efficiently achieve the set output and quality level.
  • Carries out quality inspection of output according to work instructions aimed at immediate detection of substandard products and takes immediate action upon these defects. Informs Shift Leader to take further action and prevent defects from entering the downstream production process.

Requirements
What we ask:

  • Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc in Mech/Elect Eng/SLT/Food Tech
  • Knowledge of Change management
  • Knowledge of complex problem solving
  • At least 3 years working experience in the FMCG
  • Technical Expertise and understanding
