Description

  • British American Tobacco Nigeria has an exciting opportunity for two Operators in Ibadan
  • To ensure production processes management and control over quality of manufactured products within a Making or/and Packing Machine.
  • Individual is responsible to insure their equipment is operated and maintained in basic conditions and improvements required to reach goals are executed.  
  • Train, coach, and give feedback to people to insure equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with agreed standards.  Individual is member of the Operating (Autonomous Maintenance) Team.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensures daily production target are met in terms of volume.
  • Coach and develop Technician Teams on Equipment standards (Safety maps; DMS execution etc.
  • Recommend reapplication through Module AM Pillar owner and line structure.
  • Propose, execute, and document improvements to eliminate losses
  • Eliminate Root Cause of any outages relative to your equipment
  • Monitor effectiveness and provide coaching
  • Continuously improve standards to deliver target results
  • Propose, execute, and document improvements to eliminate losses
  • Lead issue resolution “to Root Cause” on the floor of chronic stops on your equipment

Requirements
What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's of Science/Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-leading role
  • Familiarity with structured problem tools
  • Knowledge of any manufacturing environment with 0 – 3 years’ experience in a production environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
