Job Description
- Identifying areas for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable sources of materials or services.
- Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by identifying data quality issues and working closely with IT and Operations teams to address them.
- Coordinating the movement of goods, both inbound and outbound, to ensure timely deliveries.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, and the financial services domain
- Collecting and analyzing data related to supply chain performance, such as lead times, order fulfilment rates, and cost metrics.
- Generating reports and providing insights to management for decision-making.
- Gathering, analysing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to agent banking operations, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Analysing demand forecasts and inventory levels to develop procurement plans.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align inventory and distribution strategies.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and Product Management, to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements, service enhancements, and revenue optimization.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of agent network performance, transactional data, customer segmentation, and channel effectiveness to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable insights.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding agent banking operations, financial services, and relevant industry trends is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or similar role, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Advanced knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and database concepts.
- Familiarity with data manipulation languages and statistical analysis tools.
