What you’ll be doing
- You will work with cross-functional team members to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact insights across a variety of core business areas.
- You will research, design, implement and validate cutting-edge algorithms to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes.
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code to implement our credit risk models.
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications.
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
- Implementation of security and data protection on our credit risk models that help our customers reduce their loan impairments.
Who we’re looking for
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages {{such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack}}
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- You are able to analyze large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets with a variety of tools.
- Great communication skills (written and verbal), an analytical results orientated mentality and the ability to work with others as part of a team are expected.
- Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework {{such as Django, Flask, etc depending on your technology stack}}
- Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
- You have a deep understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, clustering and classification techniques, and recommendation and optimization algorithms.
- Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
