We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Estimate and establish competitive cost parameters and budget for purchase orders
• Source for prospective suppliers and develop bid cost proposals for contracts and RFQs, RFI’s, RFX, etc.
• Source for prospective suppliers and develop bid cost proposals for contracts
• Maintain and update the list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
• Work with team members and the procurement manager to complete duties as needed.
• Proven proficiency in the SCM/Procurement processes for the upstream oil and gas industry is an added advantage
• Respond and follow-up technical queries to all sorts of RFQs, RFI's, RFX, etc., and any form of tenders into the company
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
• Sourcing for technical partners and OEMs in the EPC, oil, and gas industry
• Maintain records of purchasing, pricing, and other important data
• Quantitative and qualitative suppliers' technical analysis and report updates
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
• Ensures orders delivered are the same as what was ordered originally
• Follow up with the orders placed until the delivery point to the client's locations

Requirements

• B.Sc in a relevant discipline
• Demonstrate dedication to current trends with market developments across many business sectors.
• Ability to perform in a competitive, quick-paced sales environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
