Arco Marine and Oilfield Services Limited (AMOSL) is a Nigerian owned and managed company that specializes in the provision of Marine logistics services to leading oil and gas firms.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Officer to assist in managing inventory and stock control for our operations.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure the timely availability of materials, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety and compliance standards in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records including stock levels, locations and quantities.
  • Maintain accurate records of receipts and issuances of equipment spare parts and consumables.
  • Maintain detailed records of stock movements using inventory management systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when required.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, audits, inspections and reporting.
  • Oversee the issuance and tracking of spare parts and consumables for vessels and offshore operations.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to assess stock conditions and prevent deterioration.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials in compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Minimize stock wastage and losses through effective inventory management.
  • Receive, inspect and process incoming materials.
  • Ensure all materials and spare parts are stored appropriately.
  • Work closely with procurement, technical and HSE teams to optimize inventory processes.
  • Prepare stock reports, consumption trends, and forecasting analyses.

Requirements (Education / Training / Experience)

  • Minimum, HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory/store management, preferably in similar industry.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) for reporting and coordination.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Good knowledge of marine spare parts, offshore logistics and procurement processes.
  • Good use of inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
