Lifetime Caring International Foundation situated at No. 1 Peace Crescent, Woji, New Layout, (Behind Zenith Bank), Woji Port Harcourt, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to providing succour and humanitarian services to the down-trodden and vulnerable groups across West Africa. Though, the foundation started as ministry in 1995 by the founder Late Amb. Dr. Lucky Suanu Abadaam. The vision was conceived as a result of his experience and encounters with widows and orphans during his ministerial outreaches. The pathetic conditions and sufferings of the people placed the burden upon him that metamorphosed the ministry into an NGO

Job Description

  • We are seeking to engage an Orphan and Vulnerable (OVC) Officer for the CDC funded ASPIRE Project.
  • The OVC officer shall be fully in charge implementation and scaling up of case finding both in communities and health facilities and ensure complete referral and linkage of clients for care, treatment and prevention services within the implementing communities and LGAs.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving 95% 95% 95% goal of the beneficiaries.
  • Ensuring all beneficiaries must  their HIV status.
  • Facilitate to ensure linkage to care, treatment and prevention services for all eligible clients and beneficiaries.
  • Ensures synergy of all bilateral  referral processes & track outcomes to and from health        facilities and communities.
  • Provides support to newly identified PLHIV on linkage processes, including assessment and mitigation of possible barriers to linkage.
  • Facilitate the implementation of community adherence monitoring.
  • Facilitate Health and Nutrition talks at the community level.
  • Ensure all HIV diagnosed  and liked clients  are followed up to ensure continuum in care and viral suppression.
  • Ensuring that the children are nutritionally stable
  • Follow up on the beneficiary to ensure they do not turn into IIT and PIIT

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc / M.Sc in Biological Science, Social Science,  Public Health, International Development, or related field
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience working in HIV/AIDs / TB/OVC projects  for public health, especially USAID/CDC  development projects.
