Job Description
- The successful candidates will work closely with Supervisors, EHS personnel, and the Operations Department to safely supervise and lead the installation and commissioning activities of Frame 6 turbines.
- The HDGT Engineers will be in charge of the management of site activities including planning, organizing, integrating and monitoring of resources such as labour, tools and technical assistants as required to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide customers with technical direction and support on vendor products;
- Take direction from client to implement software changes to turbine, taking responsibility for directing lower level craft labour to perform the changes;
- Sign off on all changes implemented;
- Monitor site safety during project execution;
- Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site ;
- Workforce supervision during installation to ensure that the customer’s contractors are working properly;
- Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements;
- Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
About you:
- Ideal candidates will have tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience with the installation and commissioning of HD gas turbines;
- You should also have good references that verify a sound employment history and safe working record and must be in good health and be able to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.

Duties and Responsibilities
The performance and supervision of these tasks in autonomy:
- Terminal board and wiring connection;
- Instrument installation and wiring;
- Instrument set-up and calibration;
- Field Instrumentation loop checks;
- Assistance during the commissioning and start-up of main and auxiliary equipment;
- Review electrical drawings;
- Check wiring of components as per Electrical Diagrams;
- Check interface wiring between devices, components and locations;
- Check remote wiring and interface (Control Room, BUYER DCS);
- Check calibrate protective devices;
- Wiring cold check and insulation check;
- Fire protection and gas detection system wiring and calibration;
- Verify Motor control center, inverter, battery charger, dc/ac motor wiring;
- Check and set motor starters;
- Check switch gear, circuit breakers and cubicles as per electrical drawings;
- Check starting motor control circuit (MCC), verify power terminations and verify correct motor rotations;
- Check and verify metering (voltmeter, wattmeter, current meter);

Job Description
- The successful applicants will work closely with Project Managers, EHS personnel, and the Operations Department to safely supervise and lead the installation and commissioning activities for Heavy Duty Gas Turbines.
Duties and Responsibilities
The performance and supervision of these tasks in autonomy:
- Understand design and standard documents in their various formats: drawings, specifications, ITN and other Internal Technical Normalization documents, material lists (Bill Of Materials), technical manuals for control systems and specific components/sub-systems, NIC, TIL, procedures, etc. All these documents can be available either in Russian or in English languages;
- Use the BUYER tools to retrieve technical documents: EDM, IBM iMAN and new Oracle BOM/MRP system, Support Central, etc;- Ensure the correct SUPPLIER installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning practices are followed throughout the project, filling and/or requesting subcontractors to fill the relevant check lists;
- Supervise LV cables laying, cables integrity check (meggering), cables termination and connection and point to point check done by BUYER or subcontractors;
- Supervise the fabrication and installation of the field electrical and instrumental arrangements, done by BUYER or subcontractors, particularly electrical hook up, pneumatic hook up, primary hook up and field wiring;
- Perform the integrity check and first power-up of the Control Panel;
- Perform troubleshooting of the control panel hardware, replacing faulty cards with spare ones, setting Berg jumpers and downloading configuration software;
- Supervise the positioning and wiring of Control Panels such as Turbine Control Panel (UCP), Auxiliary Panels of any type, Direct Current Panel (DCP), battery charger and battery cells, Generator Control & Protection Panel (GCPP), Motor Control Center (MCC), etc, done by BUYER or subcontractors;
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows NT/2000 and its software components on the HMI (Human Machine Interface) and other PC used in the control system;
- Download and troubleshoot control Software to the Control Panel;- Configure and troubleshoot LAN (Local Area Network);
- Calibrate and test any type of field instruments, according to P&I and instrument list, using the necessary tools and filling the relevant check list/certificate;
- Execute loops check for any type of instrument;
- Perform calibration of gas turbine control servo-mechanisms (fuel valves, IGV, nozzles, etc)
- Calibrate pressure-regulating valves;Edit the existing control software if required to rectify non-conformities as per Engineering Dept instructions, implement sequence changes required from Engineering Dept, customize the control system to the site conditions, modify the animated displays on the HMI, etc. Any change shall be implemented upon approval by the relevant Engineering Dept;
- Verify the correct implementation of control software as requested from control specification (if present);
- Energize, configure, test and calibrate auxiliary systems normally integrated in the Control Panel, such as Bently Nevada vibration monitoring system (3300 and 3500 series) including no contact probes, accelerometers, velocity probes and humming detectors (acoustic probes);
- MSA or similar gas detection systems; fire fighting system (with direct assistance from OEM Vendors for troubleshooting of major problems); Torquemeter readout monitors; air inlet self-cleaning control system (if applicable, i.e. jet pulse); Etc.
- Energize MCC and DCP panels, setting all protection relays as per specification for each load.
- Start-up Low Voltage and Medium Voltage auxiliary motors, checking direction of rotation and current consumption.

Job Description
- The successful applicants will work closely with Project Managers, EHS personnel, and the Operations Department to safely supervise and lead the installation and commissioning activities for MCL & BCL compressors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pre-outage and installation planning;
- Possibly recommending and administering policies and procedures;
- Equipment start-up, diagnostic and troubleshooting;
- Combustion inspection;
- Pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil system, starting system, fuel gas system, air system;
- Advise on interpretation of vendor drawings for installation optimization;
- Check-out and initial operation of base mounted gas turbine starting means;
- Lock-out and Tag-out;
- Geometric dimensional check of foundation, equipment and auxiliaries skids positioning, levelling (ensure levelness and elevations of subsole plates and perform contact checks between subsole plates and package supports) and alignment;
- Verify the start-up sequence; provide assistance during the start-up phase, checking all functional parameters of compressor and equipment, in order to optimise performances and efficiency of turbine (whenever present) and to respect the minimum radial clearance between rotor and stator parts;
- Installation and assembling activities of compressor auxiliary equipment, such: as lube and/or seal oil console, seal gas system, air console, interconnection piping, oil cooler, anti-surge system, oil flushing and blowing, etc.);
- Pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil system, air system, seal gas system, anti-surge system;
- Work closely with E/I Specialist during the installation, calibration and set-up of compressor electrical instrumentation (such as vibration probes, temperature elements, I/P converters, etc.);
- Major inspection;
- Unloading and Inspection of the major auxiliaries at the installation site;
- Ensure all gas piping and orifices are correctly installed for each piping system;
- Mark-up all piping drawings to show piping modifications;
- Install inlet and exhaust systems per vendor specifications;
- Ideal candidates will have tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience with the installation and commissioning of centrifugal compressors;
