Zuma Processing Farm Mill is a rice mill that processes and package quality rice from the farm.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 


Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Officer (Rice Mill)

Location: Idu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties

  • Ensure to install wiring of power supply and conduct newly installed equipment and machines.
  • Merger together wires in boxes with different specially developed connectors.
  • Ensure to resolve and rectify problems correctly prior to breakdowns occurrence.
  • Inspect periodically electrical equipment to assure it is operating correctly.
  • Ensures work facility fulfills all required safety and environmental needs.
  • Involve in audits of supply inventories along with bench stock to assure usage is constant with programmed work activities.
  • Present project oversight as identified by management and engineers.
  • Coordinate climbing and digging permits.
  • Conduct in-depth electrical maintenance and instrumentation for troubleshooting, preventative and repair maintenance duties for plant utility, process and packaging equipment.
  • Perform all multi-discipline duties related to electrical aspect.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all electrical equipment’s in the factory including installation of CCTV camera, air conditioners, electricity cabling for lighting and safety purpose etc.
  • Daily check on the Power Generating set for servicing, need for fueling and maintenance requirement
  • Construction of electrical panels and its components for the for different production sections when required
  • Installation, repairs and routine checks for electric motors and electrical component for various machine.
  • Ensure smooth running of plant equipment and machinery in Milling, Parboiling and Boiling section by providing electrical and electronic support.
  • Install new equipment and modify existing equipment.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance for every equipment in respective facility.
  • Conduct and support for equipment changeovers and start-ups
  • Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electronics components and equipment
  • Evaluate system and recommend design modifications or equipment repair
  • Inspect electronic equipment, instruments and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations
  • Work with production supervisors to ensure that final production is completed satisfactorily and on time.
